Pictures of the homeless are usually exploitive - Ryan's are anything but. The shots are very in your face (not aggressive but inescapable). Thoughtful snippets of the subject's conversation with the photographer really help to carry the story .

The only photoblog I know of that doesn't only have 1 or a whole community of contributors, but has two distinct contibutors. The contrast works very well.
